Description
The mBot Ranger, a modular 3-in-1 educational robot, offers the exciting possibility of transforming into three different shapes, delivering three times the fun: Land Raider, an off-road vehicle with tank-like tracks; Dashing Raptor, a speedy three-wheeled race car; and Nervous Bird, a self-balancing avian marvel.
As the “big brother” to the popular mBot, the modular mBot Ranger is equipped with a range of new functionalities that open up the opportunity to tackle more complex programming tasks. The robot’s features also support activities designed to foster the development of logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The mBot Ranger is versatile enough to handle any terrain, whether it’s a forest trail or a pre-designed polygon. It is comprised of approximately 100 parts, including both mechanical and electronic modules, and is fitted with six types of sensors: a light sensor, a temperature sensor, a sound sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, a line monitoring sensor, and a gyroscope.
These sensors empower the Ranger to perform a diverse array of functions, from data collection, line tracking, to obstacle avoidance. Further enhancing its capabilities, the Ranger motherboard comes with 10 functionality expansion interfaces, allowing for the connection of over 100 electronic modules to achieve an extensive range of functions.
